SDWA Compliance

Safe Drinking Water Act compliance straight from EPA ECHO. Headwater reports what EPA publishes — violation counts, health-based flags, serious-violator designations and enforcement dates — and never infers a certification status EPA does not release.

AWIA context

What Headwater can and cannot verify

AWIA §2013 requires community water systems serving more than 3,300 people to certify a Risk & Resilience Assessment and an Emergency Response Plan to EPA on a five-year cycle.

EPA does not publish a machine-readable certification register, so Headwater does not display RRA/ERP status. Systems in scope are listed below by population so you can request certification evidence directly — an invented status would be worse than none.

… systems in RI are above the 3,300-person AWIA threshold.
